I’m Redempta Mwende a development practitioner, gender equality advocate, and climate resilience strategist driven by a simple belief: you don’t need power to create change just a heart that longs to make a difference.

Born and raised in Eastlands, Nairobi, my journey began in a close-knit family of six where dreams were nurtured despite limitations. Through resilience and a deep conviction in purpose, I’ve transformed those early dreams into impact across the Global South — working with international NGOs, governments, and grassroots communities to drive sustainable, data-led change.

With a wealth of experience, my work blends Monitoring & Evaluation, Gender Equity, Climate Adaptation and Resilience, Youth Development, and Clean Energy Access. I’ve designed evidence-based programs, built inclusive policies, and championed youth mentorship to ensure that no voice is left unheard and no idea left unexplored.
